Pickup burned down to frame near Pulp Haul Road

Not much is left of a Ford F150 that caught fire near the Pulp Haul Road on Highway 2 North yesterday.

Buckland Fire/Rescue was called to the burning pickup just before 8 p.m. yesterday and said the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when they got there.

Crew donned full PPE including their self-contained breathing apparatuses and used water and foam to extinguish the fire.

Not all of the responding units were needed and two crews were turned back to the fire hall by the scene commander.
