Prince Albert wind chill warning ended

Environment Canada has ended a wind chill warning it issued for the Prince Albert area.

Shellbrook, Spiritwood, Duck Lake, Melfort, Tisdale, Nipawin, Carrot River and Rosthern were also under a wind chill warning.

Temperatures near minus 30, combined with northwest winds of 15 to 20 kilometres per hour were expected to lead to wind chill values of minus 40 or lower overnight. on Monday

The extreme wind chills were expected to last through the morning and moderate by midday Tuesday.
