It has been confirmed, the Saskatchewan Roughriders have fired general manager Brendan Taman and head coach Corey Chamblin.

The news first broke on social media Monday night, one day after the Riders’ ninth loss of the 2015 season, 35-13 to the Ottawa RedBlacks.

Chamblin’s decisions during the game were heavily criticized by Rider Nation, particularly the decision to pull quarterback Brett Smith from the game after throwing an interception in the end zone.

Reports say Bob Dyce will take over as the head coach while Jeremy O’Day takes over as general manager.
