Raiders fans are encouraged to bring high spirits and also winter wear to the hockey game Tuesday night.

Parkland Ambulance will be at the Art Hauser Centre to collect mitts, scarves and toques for those who have gone without so far this chilly winter season. All the clothing will go to local charities.

Lyle Karasiuk, director of public affairs for Parkland Ambulance, said community efforts keep everyone safe during the holidays.

“They share the caring of others with those who might not have much or a ‘mitten up’ to keep them safe this winter,” he said. “We look forward to a great response from Raiders fans on Dec. 27.”
