Possible child abduction attempt in N.B.

RCMP responded to a possible attempted child luring just before 6 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22.

A driver on the 1500 block of 101 St. gestured to two 11-year-old children to get into his truck — a dark grey extended cab pickup truck.

The children ran, leaving the truck in the area. The driver is described as a clean cut, middle aged man wearing a puffy jacket.

The matter remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Battlefords RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
