10 Saskatchewan Roughriders hit free agency today

At 11 a.m., the Saskatchewan Roughriders and other teams in the CFL will have a plethora of players to negotiate with.

It is CFL free agency Tuesday, and the green and white have 10 players expected to hit the open market when it opens.

The Riders ended the season with 23 players who would hit free agency, but several were released and Darian Durant was traded to the Montreal Alouettes.

ROUGHRIDER FREE AGENTS

  • Gregory Alexandre – defensive line
  • Phil Bates – receiver
  • Randy Chevrier – long snapper
  • Thaddeus Coleman – offensive line
  • Jeff Fuller – receiver
  • Jeff Hecht – defensive back
  • Jorgen Hus – long snapper
  • Corvey Irvin – defensive line
  • Andrew Lue – defensive back
  • Bryn Roy – linebacker
  • Matt Webster – defensive back
  • Jonathan Williams – defensive line

Saskatchewan finished the season with 23 pending free agents. Of those 23, just 10 are scheduled to become free agents Tuesday morning: Alexandre, Bates, Chevrier, Coleman, Fuller, Hecht, Hus, Irvin, Lue, and Webster.
