P.A. police arrest car thieves

Prince Albert police arrested two suspected car thieves this week.

At roughly 8:15 p.m., March 9, a vehicle was located matching the description of one reported stolen. It was found in the alley behind an apartment building in the 500 Block of 28th St. W.

A male with outstanding warrants, was seen walking from the apartment building to the vehicle. He and and two other passengers were arrested, but the passengers were eventually released.

The 31-year old-male driver from P.A. was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.

At roughly 5 a.m. March 10, patrol officers were dispatched to 28th St. and Second Ave. W., the site of a vehicle reporter stolen. The vehicle was followed and stopped at Third Ave. W. on 27th St. W.

The lone female driver of the vehicle was arrested.

The 34-year-old female from Prince Albert is facing charges of possession of a stolen motor vehicle and impaired driving.
