Voting period starts for Best of the Best Awards

It’s time to get down to the nitty-gritty and start voting for the best the Battlefords has to offer. The voting stage for the 2017 Battlefords Best of the Best (BOB) Awards has begun today and is available until June 25. Now it’s up to you to decide who will win in each category and take home a coveted BOB Award.
With hundreds of categories available during the nomination process from Best Family Restaurant to Best Local Reporter to Best Place to Break Up, readers from the area nominated several hundred people, place and things. Only the top three nominations in each category made it into the voting stage, so if your favourite boss or favourite doctor made it to the finals, don’t forget to check to see if they made the final stage and vote.
“We are thrilled with how many nominations we received,” said Betty Speed, sales manager for battlefordsNOW.com. “It’s critical now to get your votes in, and encourage friends and family to do the same. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the best our region has to offer, and no one know better than our readers who is deserving of a BOB Award,” added Speed.
During the voting process, people can vote in as many categories as they like, and can vote in the same category once per day, so vote often if you want to see a winner in a certain category.
