Serial B and E suspect caught with homemade explosives

A man wanted for car theft and break and enters was caught as he exited a fast-food drive through. Upon a search of his stolen vehicle, police found a homemade explosive device.

On Wednesday, June 14 at 11 p.m., police located a vehicle on Second Ave. W. driven by a suspect wanted for recent break-and-enters and car theft. The male suspect was subsequently arrested and searched. Roughly 7.5 grams of cocaine and .4 grams of methamphetamine were on his person. A quick search revealed the man was wanted in Regina for possession of stolen property exceeding $5,000.

The vehicle contained items suspected stolen including electronics, a vehicle manual and two rifle scopes.

Police also located the truck involved in recent break-and-enters. A search of that vehicle found a homemade explosive device.
