RCMP concerned about rash of thefts in the area

Battlefords RCMP are once again reminding residents to please to ensure their vehicles and homes are locked as a series of thefts have occurred in the area.

Sometime between Friday, June 2 and Sunday, June 4 a grey BMX “GT” bike was stolen from a backyard of a residence on Campbell Crescent in North Battleford.

That same weekend RCMP were called to a farm east of Battleford where suspects entered a Quonset and stole a vehicle battery, air compressor, welder and several tools.

Meanwhile in the early morning hours of June 3, suspect(s) broke into a residence in the Battle River Regional Municipality and stole several firearms.
