Students who go above and beyond at Prince Albert Collegiate Institute (PACI) were honoured for their achievements Tuesday.

Students Grades 9 through 12 were recognized in five different categories.

The Leadership Award is given to a student who sets a standard of excellence, is an organizer or initiator who draws people together. The Spirit of PACI is awarded to a student who exemplifies sportsmanship and school involvement, and has a positive attitude. The Outstanding Student award is based on overall grade average, while Effort and Determination is given to a student not necessarily for scholastic achievement, but hard work, perserverance, and overcoming obstacles.
