Carpenter High School teacher wins sports service award
Carpenter High School (CHS) teacher Kendra Paramchuk has been recognized for her contributions to high school sports in the province.
Late last week, she was awarded with the Saskatchewan High School Athletics Association (SHSAA) Service Award.
She was nominated in April by colleagues in the northwest district, and she said she was incredibly honoured to receive the accolade.
“It’s very humbling,” she said. “You sometimes get busy with your seasons and you don’t realize there are people out there recognizing you. It’s touching too, because I’m finishing up my four years on the SHSHAA executive.”
