UPDATE: Severe thunderstorm watch ended for area

UPDATE: The severe watch for the area has ended.

The severe thunderstorm warning for the Meadow Lake, Big River, Green Lake and Pierceland areas has been downgraded to a watch.

Meteorologists say conditions are favourable for the development of dangerous thunderstorms that may produce damaging winds, hail and heavy rain.
