Beer truck overturns near M.L.

Police are still investigating spilled beer and paint on the highway after a commercial truck crash on Highway 4, South of Meadow Lake yesterday. 

The incident occurred around noon when the truck rolled onto its side and spilled its contents into the ditch. The contents included paint cans and a large quality of various beers.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

In a media release, police complained about many drivers stopping to “inspect the damages.”

“At this point the cause of the accident is still under investigation,” Sgt. Ryan How of the Meadow Lake RCMP said. “Ironically alcohol is not believed to be a factor.”
