Investigation continues in drive-by shooting in North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP are investigating a drive-by shooting which occurred late Monday night in North Battleford.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. on 108 St. when the back window of a vehicle was shot out as it was being parked.

“The investigation is ongoing,” Cpl. James Fenrich of the Battlefords RCMP said. “There is no indication as to what calibre firearm was used or if it was indeed a firearm as it could have been a pellet pistol as well.”

He added there were two occupants in the vehicle during the shooting but no injuries were sustained.
