No decision on golf course project: town

The town of Battleford hasn’t made any decisions whether or not it will provide funding for proposed upgrades to North Battleford Golf and Country Club.
Mayor Ames Leslie said during council Monday some residents had questions so he wanted to make it clear the town has not committed.
“At no point has council indicated that they will or will not be funding the golf course. There was no decision of approval to give money to the golf course on July 17,” Leslie said.
Representatives from the golf club board recently visited council to make a presentation about their proposal for capital improvement upgrades.
