The Government of Canada launched regional food conulsations this month to discuss Canada’s Food Policy.

Agriculture Minister Lawerence McCauley and his team will be travelling across Canada to hear from and collect input on the matter from the private sector, agri-food businesses and farmers.

However, they are not making a stop in Saskatchewan.

Those from the province will be forced to attend the Prairie region event in Winnipeg this September. No date has yet to be set for the consultations.
