UPDATE: RCMP find man missing from Sask Hospital

UPDATE: Carlin Bear was located on Monday afternoon and returned to the Saskatachewan Mental Health Facility in North Battleford without incident. 

 

Battlefords RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 24-year-old man who walked away from the Saskatchewan Hospital mental health facility in North Battleford on Saturday night.

Bear is a committed patient at the Saskatchewan Hospital and did not return from a 30 minute absence on the hospital grounds. He was last seen at the hospital.

Carlin Bear is from the Big River First Nation and while RCMP do not believe he poses a direct threat to the general public at this time, he should not be approached.
