Woman suspected in hit-and-run

Prince Albert police arrested a woman over the weekend involved in a reported hit-and-run.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, patrol was dispatched to a business in the 200 block of 15th St. W. for a report of a motor vehicle accident. The driver failed to stay on scene and was later found on 12th St. W. turning westbound.

The driver would not stop when police turned on their lights. Officers would eventually follow her to Third Ave. West.

The driver failed a roadside breathalyzer, then failed one again when taken to the cells. 

The 39-year-old female driver from Saskatoon is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and exceeding .08.
