RCMP arrest intoxicated man for uttering threats

Police arrested one man on Monday evening following a disturbance at a pub in North Battleford where a suspect threatened to kill everyone inside.

According to RCMP Cpl. James Fenrich, the man who was intoxicated at the time of the incident threatened both patrons and staff before officers arrived and arrested him.

Fenrich said no weapons were located and no one was injured in the incident.  

The man, who is in his fifties, will appear in court on Thursday, Nov. 2.
