Until October 18, Battlefords and Meadow Lake area bargain hunters can now bid on the thousands of dollars of merchandise and services up for grabs during the annual CJNB/CJNS online auction.

“It’s very easy,” CJNB sales representative Nikki Loweryson told battlefordsNOW.  “All you have to do is go to www.radiobidnow.com. Once you get to the website, you can take a couple of minutes to register.”

Bidders need to provide their contact information in case they are a lucky winner.

“All we need is your name, phone number and email address, and you’re in and ready to take a look around,” said Loweryson.

To find out how one’s bid is going, people can log into the website at any time. If someone bid in the past, they can simply log in, or if they are new to the auction and want to check it out, people simply need to register to get started.

“You can check to see where your bids are at – whether you are winning your bid, or if somebody has out-bid you, you can go in there and put in a new bid,” Loweryson said.

Bidders can save as much as 60 per cent on services and merchandise from participating businesses. Whether it’s home, garden, leisure, food, agriculture or sporting equipment, Loweryson said there is something for everyone.

“We have some great exciting items,” Loweryson said. “If people are in the Meadow Lake area planning a summer wedding, perhaps next summer, there’s a great event tent rental coming from the Meadow Lake Kinsmen Club.”

There is a wide range of items up for auction including some big-ticket items.

“We have a little bit of everything – hotel stays, farm supplies, home improvement items, lots of restaurant gift certificates, clothing and so much more,” Loweryson said.

There is no limit on the number of items people can bid on, and no restrictions on how often they can bid.
