P.A. man arrested on weapons charges

Prince Albert police arrested a man attempting to conceal a weapon this morning.
Officers were conducting a patrol through an apartment building in 900 block Central Ave. A 22-year-old man was located in the hallway of the building who, when approached by officers, attempted to conceal something in his waistband. When searched officers found on the man a large knife, a loaded, sawed off .22 rifle and ammunition rounds.
The man from Prince Albert is facing six firearm related charges and breach of probation. The suspect will answer to charges in Prince Albert provincial court today.
