Woman arrested after pulling knife on officer

An officer drew their gun on Friday morning after a female approached police with a knife.
The incident happened on 17 Street W. after police were dispatched to an eviction call involving an intoxicated woman. On the scene, officers heard a woman crying. After an officer entered the residence, they found a woman with a large kitchen knife that she raised and pointed at them.
The officer withdrew their sidearm and commanded the woman to drop the knife, which she did after several verbal warnings.
She was arrested without further incident.
