City asking for public’s input to improve housing situation
Anyone with suggestions on how North Battleford can improve the housing situation in the city now has a chance to have their voices heard.
Administration is asking residents to fill out a survey to make recommendations on housing improvements in the city as part of the Housing Strategy and Action Plan.
“The best way to get that information is to complete a survey so we know what is there and what we are lacking and then try to fill in the gaps,” city manager Jim Puffalt said. “Community safety wise, affordable housing for people is probably our biggest issue.”
He added the survey isn’t just for low income housing though.
