UPDATE: La Ronge high school evacuated after threat, RCMP find nothing suspicious

A La Ronge high school was evacuated today due to an undisclosed threat.
According to RCMP, the local detachment received a complaint of a threat at the Churchill Community High School shortly before 1 p.m. As a precaution the school was evacuated, and all staff and students were moved to a nearby, central location and parents were notified of the situation.
La Ronge RCMP have completed their search of Churchill Community High School and nothing suspicious was located. The Northern Lights School Division said staff members remained with the students at a safe location until all of the students were accounted for and released to the care of parents or guardians.
The RCMP will not be releasing further information about the threat at this time.
