Prince Albert woman has made a donation ensuring pet safety in Melfort.

Paws Here Dog Training owner Amy Locke donated two, three mask kits to the Melfort Fire Department. The masks fit dogs and cats, and come in a variety of sizes. The masks are equipped to hook up to oxygen tanks simillar to one a human would use.

Fire Chief Paul See said the oxygen mask kits are important to their operation.

“They are nice to have, especially these days. People are pretty attached to their pets,” he said.
