Armed with Red Bull, Mountain Dew and coffee on the floor beside him, Adam Quiring picked up his controller, slid on his headphones, and is in for the long hall.

The twenty-six-year-old has launched into a rather quirky yet creative fundraising effort for the Prince Albert Food Bank — a 30-plus hour video game marathon of Far Cry: Primal.

“I am a young guy and I have played a lot of video games and I figure if I am going to play them anyway, I might as well play them for a good cause,” Quiring told paNOW as he stood beside his battle station in the Business Lobby of the Day Inn.

“I have never done anything that spectacular for the community, and I thought I might as well just give it a shot and see what I can do.”
