Will winter ever end?
It’s a question many are asking this morning as Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for the Battlefords, Wilkie, Maidstone and surrounding areas.
Meteorologist Justin Shaer said an Alberta clipper will bring approximately 5 cm of snow to central Saskatchewan today, however, it will taper off this evening. There is also a risk of freezing rain in the forecast near Highway 1 this evening.
The Battlefords region can expect between 2 and 4 cm today, with 30 km/h winds.
