Precautionary drinking water advisory issued for Luseland

Apr 20, 2018 | 11:17 AM

A broken line has caused the town of Luseland to issue a precautionary drinking water advisory for the next five days.

The advisory was issued just before 10 a.m. Friday morning. According to town administrator, Karyl Richardson, crews are on scene repairing the break and it should be fixed today. She added the water has to have two separate clean tests before the advisory can be lifted and samples won’t be sent out until Monday.

Richardson expects the water to be clear for consumption Wednesday afternoon. Until then anyone who accesses their drinking water from Luseland is advised to boil it for a least a minute first before consumption.
