Car thieves target midtown homeowner

A homeowner in Prince Albert’s midtown area lost two vehicles to thieves this weekend.

The vehicles were taken between 10:30 p.m. Sunday night and 6 a.m. Monday morning in the 300-block of Eighth St. E. 

The homeowner, who asked not to be identified, said the grey 2001 Suburban and black 2013 Ford truck were both locked and left parked in front of his home. The thieves gained entry through the side entrance of the house, the homeowner said, and stole the keys while the couple was sleeping inside.

Police told paNOW the file is under investigation, though they have no suspects at this time.
