Evacuation ordered lifted for Crutwell, residents asked to remain on standby

The evacuation order for Crutwell and homes North to Highway 3 has been lifted as of 9 p.m. Tuesday night.

Residents who evacuated can now return home. Wildfires continue to burn southwest of Holbein. Residents in Holbein and Crutwell as well as residents along and South of Highway 3 between the two communities are advised to remain on standby and to prepare for an evacuation should one be issued.

The order was given at around 2 p.m. for the second time in 24 hours. An evacuation order was issued for the community just before 4 p.m. on Monday as well and lifted roughly six hours later.
