UPDATE: Missing 26-year-old located safely

UPDATED: Shellbrook RCMP confirmed Philip Quincey was located safe and well Friday morning along the highway between Canwood and Shellbrook. The Shellbrook RCMP thanked the public for their assistance.

RCMP in Shellbrook have asked for help locating a missing 26-year-old.

Phillip Quincey was last seen near Highway 55 between Shellbrook and Canwood Thursday at 4:24 p.m., RCMP said, and may have attempted to hitch a ride along the highway.

Quincey was described as a Caucasian male, 5’8” tall, weighing 140 lbs. He has brown eyes and light brown hair.

Anyone with information on Quincey’s whereabouts was asked to contact the Shellbrook RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers.
