RCMP in Battleford are looking for a suspect who allegedly threatened a store employee with a knife after stealing from a business on North Territorial Dr.

The incident took place in the early afternoon of July 11, RCMP said. A lone male suspect was seen stealing items from the business, and when he was confronted outside the store by an employee, the suspect allegedly threatened the worker with a knife before fleeing on a bicycle.

Nobody was hurt during the altercation, RCMP said.

The suspect was described as a Caucasian male of average height with balding, brown hair. He is believed to be in his late 30s, RCMP said, with a “scruffy” red-brown beard and wearing an orange hoodie.
