One dead in Wollaston Lake boating incident

RCMP in Wollaston Lake responded to a capsized pleasure craft July 15, and police said an elderly man perished in the incident.

The drowning victim was a 70-year old man from Hatchet Lake whose name was not released. Three other occupants of the boat were rescued by employees of a nearby business, RCMP said.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
