Over a quarter of North Battleford residents identify as First Nations, yet there’s a chance they won’t be represented on the next city council.

Community members hope to knit 100 blankets before Christmas

A handful of women are using their love of knitting to help a local charity.

The group, which operates under no title or leadership, has pledged to make 100 blankets for the Battleford Early Childhood Intervention Program, all in time for Christmas.
