The 130th annual Territorial Days are right around the corner with a brand new lineup with something for everybody.

According to Jocelyn Ritchie, General Manager of the Battlefords Agriculture Society, this is the largest event of the year in the Battlefords.

No decision on golf course project: town

The town of Battleford hasn't made any decisions whether or not it will provide funding for proposed upgrades to North Battleford Golf and Country Club.

Mayor Ames Leslie said during council Monday some residents had questions so he wanted to make it clear the town has not committed.

Pharmacy owner concerned with awarding of tenders

The owner of the Cut Knife and Turtleford Pharmacy is hoping to rally the community together in wake of the Prairie North Health Region’s recent decision to award tenders for the contract of packaging and distribution of daily prescription drugs to a provider from outside the communities.

Quarterly statistics show reduction in property crime: RCMP

Battleford's RCMP had some good news for the Town of Battleford yesterday. 

RCMP Insp. John Sutherland said property crime is down according to the latest quarterly statistics (April to June 2017) for the detachment.
