The Western Development Museum (WDM) was offering a glimpse into the past over the weekend.

At the annual Those Were the Days event, WDM opened its doors to show off all the museum has to offer, showcasing what life for families on the prairies in the early 1900s was like.

If it seems too good to be true it probably is.

That’s the warning members of the Battlefords RCMP are issuing to local residents in the wake of recent complaints of money scams and frauds happening in the area.

These were some of the impacts from this year’s  provincial budget cuts that area residents raised during Thursday’s Cuts and Crowns town hall meeting in North Battleford.
