Property crime, rural crime and the risks of taking matters into your own hands were a few of the issues raised during the RCMP's town hall meeting in Battleford Tuesday.

Now that 51 operators for Saskatchewan’s cannabis retail stores are selected, the real work begins according to the president of one of the two successful applicants for the permits in North Battleford.

Battleford's RCMP are hoping for a good turnout for the first of three town hall style meetings at the Alex Dillabough Centre to discuss local crime numbers and ways to prevent crime.
