Kids learn the ABC's of bike safety

Battlefords youth had a chance to finesse their road-safety skills at the popular Bike Rodeo this week.

North Battleford students in Grades 1 to 5 participated in the Friday training session inside the Civic Centre, while town of Battleford students attended a separate event Tuesday.

It was a long trek, but it was worth it for Sister Evelyn Nedelec, who managed to raise more than $5,000 in her 50-kilometre Walkathon earlier this week.
