Summer leads to increased work duties for Meadow Lake Mounties

Meadow Lake RCMP have been busy the past week handling 114 files.

In the past 24 hours alone, officers responded to two complaints of break and enters in progress at different residences.

Art in the Park connects craftspeople with public

Art takes all kinds of different forms, and can take space in all sorts of different places, even provincial parks. 

Yesterday, several artists and craftspeople shared their handiwork at Art in the Park at the Greig Lake visitors centre.

M.L. entertainer remembers local roots while touring nationally

Life is moving fast for Dakota-Ray Hebert. The local actress recently signed on to three major theatre productions across Canada and even though she's making waves nationally, she still credits her roots in Meadow Lake.

Flying Dust FN hosting logo and slogan contest for 2019 Summer Games

Now that Flying Dust First Nation won the bid to host the 2019 Saskatchewan First Nations Summer Games, the planning stages are now underway. To create new marketing materials for the games, council and the steering committee launched a logo and slogan contest in the community.
