1936 – 2017
It is with the deepest sorrow that on March 5, 2017 we lost a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and best friend.
Charlotte Catherine Constance Rose was born to Edward and Emily (Welch) Clark on January 17, 1936 in Prince Albert, SK. They lived in a number of small towns in central and southern Saskatchewan due to her father’s work. She found herself back in Prince Albert and graduated high school from the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. On July 31, 1956 she married Alex Weber and they lived on a farm near Crystal Springs, where they raised three children and contributed to the community in every way possible. They then retired and moved to Melfort, at which time they would take many road trips, many of which found them in Watrous, their honeymoon location so many years prior.
In 1999, Hallmark Cards of Canada chose one of her poems to be published and released on the Millennium Card, which was a huge highlight for her.
She enjoyed playing the piano, writing poetry, many types of crafts and was always a huge Royal watcher. She always hosted the most wonderful of occasions, of which Christmas was her favorite and it showed! Thank you to the Moskal and Cross families for their help and support as special neighbours indeed.
Charlotte passed peacefully at Parkland Place in Melfort. Special thanks to Shelley LeFranc and also a very special thank you to the staff at Parkland Place for the special care she received.
Charlotte was predeceased by her husband Alex of 54 years, an older brother, Russel, and her parents. She is survived by her children George (Joey); Richard (Kim); Cathy (Dean), grandchildren Stacey and Lindsey (Brad), two brothers, Bill (Barb) Clark of Vancouver; Ed Clark of Vernon, BC and a half-sister Dianna (Weston) Lynn of Sechelt, BC.
We miss your smile and your wit….may it live on forever and may Elvis Presley serenade you for eternity!
From all of us that had the privilege to know you, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!
