Students who go above and beyond at Prince Albert Collegiate Institute (PACI) were honoured for their achievements Tuesday.

Students Grades 9 through 12 were recognized in five different categories.

The Prince Albert location of Sears Canada is shutting its doors.

The struggling retailer revealed plans to close 59 locations across the country and cut approximatelhy 2,900 jobs under a court-supervised restructuring.

Planned power outage for Birch Hills

Regular maintenance work by SaskPower will mean residents in the town of Birch Hills will be without power on Thursday for about four hours.  

The power outage applies to all customers in the town of Birch Hills, weather permitting, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.
