PA housing market levels off

The housing market is slowing down.
Kevin Wouters, president of the Prince Albert Real Estate Board, said he just returned from a national real estate conference and the market is down everywhere.
“It’s certainly not just a Prince Albert thing,” he said.

Two Miles for Mary helps seniors travel

Two Miles For Mary is another huge success.

A Radio-a-thon on 900 CKBI this morning raised more than $26,000 for the Seniors Transportation Program.

There was also a surprise donation this morning from the Prince Albert fire fighters – a brand new car.

Pedestrian struck update

A man who was hit by a vehicle east of Prince Albert Monday night remains in hospital.

The incident happened near the old Pulp mill site shortly after 8 p.m.

Police say it appears the man from Sandy Bay was standing on the road surface when he was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
