Safeway supports P.A. Food Bank’s mac and cheese knockdown

A local business threw its support behind the Prince Albert Food Bank’s 'mac and cheese knockdown' event.

Wes Erlendson, the owner of Safeway, said it feels great to be giving back.

“It’s important that we support what takes place in our community,” Erlendson said.

The lining of the new $1.2 million pool and leisure spray area is underway ahead of the expected June 30 opening. The water park section will open this coming Saturday.

Kinsmen Park aquatic facilities to open this month

The Kinsmen Water Park along with the city’s first new outdoor pool in 50 years are set to open in the coming weeks.

The city announced the Water Park, including the slides, whirl and tot pools, playground and basketball net will open this coming Saturday at 1 p.m.

UPDATE: Warman RCMP said Iron and Cheenanow have both been located, and thanked the public for their assistance during the investigation.

Warman RCMP officers are looking for two girls who were reported missing from a home near Martensville yesterday evening.
