Duron Carter has inked a one-year contract extension which the club announced Monday morning.

Saskatchewan Roughrider great Don Narcisse is battling prostate cancer

Narcisse posted on Facebook Wednesday to spread the news he has been diagnosed with the first stage of the disease, and he is thankful doctors caught it early.

The CFL has suspended Roughriders offensive lineman Bruce Campbell after a positive drug test.

Campbell, who played 12 regular season games and two playoff games for the club, was found to have the banned substance Ibutamoren in his system.

Chris Getzlaf said he got to “live out his dream,” as he announced his retirement from football with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Getzlaf, 34, spent most of his CFL career with his hometown team, winning two Grey Cups with the green and white in 2007 and 2013.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have released veteran international quarterback Kevin Glenn.

The team announced the move on Twitter early Thursday morning.

The move comes on the heels of a trade to acquire former Hamilton Tiger-Cats quarterback Zach Collaros.
