Last season Duron Carter didn’t even have a team, let alone a spot in the playoffs.

What a difference a year makes.

The effervescent receiver was cut by the Montreal Alouettes so late in the 2016 season that by league rules he was unable to join another team.

Denzel Radford doesn’t mind flying under the radar.

In fact, he was so under the radar he didn’t even know how well he was doing.

Radford, the Riders rookie receiver, has been a bona fide star on special teams this season.

It’s a good thing Brendon LaBatte looks good in green because he’s not going anywhere for a long time.

The homegrown offensive lineman for the Saskatchewan Roughriders has signed a four-year contract extension that will keep him with the club until 2021.

A name that Rider Nation has been asking about since he signed will finally make his first start of the season Friday night.

Chad Owens, who signed with the Riders in the offseason primarily as a return man will make his Roughrider debut as a receiver.
