Familiar names considering race to replace Premier

While Tina Beaudry-Mellor is the first official candidate so far in the race to replace Brad Wall, there are likely many who will join her.

On Tuesday, two more stepped forward to confirm they’re giving the position a serious consideration.

A longtime MLA and founding member of the Saskatchewan Party is retiring from politics.

Bill Boyd, the representative for Kindersley, made the announcement Tuesday afternoon. The Sask. Party responded to the news on its official Facebook page shortly after.
