An all-weather road to Wollaston Lake is closer to becoming a reality, according to Saskatchewan's Ministry of Highways.

The incumbent candidate for Chief of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has been re-elected.

Peter A. Beatty garnered nearly 1,800 votes in the final tally, roughly 650 ahead of Karen Bird, the next closest candidate.
