Lightning strike caused Land of Loon Resort restaurant blaze

The cause of the fire that destroyed the Land of the Loon Resort’s restaurant on Anglin Lake Tuesday has been identified.
After a long investigation the Lakeland Fire Department Emergency Management and Fire Safety and OFC have come to the conclusion the blaze was electrical in nature and caused by a lightning strike.
Investigators have withdrawn from the case and handed it over to the insurance company.
