Rave reviews from KISS fans after Regina concert

They didn’t ‘Rock and Roll All Night’ but KISS fans in Saskatchewan left the Brandt Centre satisfied with their ears ringing.

Fans came in from across southern Saskatchewan to see the Demon, Starchild, Space Ace, and Catman do what they do best – put on a show.

“It’s KISS! You can’t not go,” one man commented.

“It’s like a circus, it really is, it’s got appeal for everyone you know,” another chimed in.

There’s no one demographic represented at a KISS concert. From the hard-core crowd decked out in face paint and black leather to first timers ranging from children to people in their 70s.

Some have been obsessed with the band since they first started touring in the ’70s.

“In 1978, I think I listened at the Agridome door and my parents wouldn’t let me in, I was like a six-year-old kid or something like that and this is like a dream come true to come here with amazing people like this,” a long- time fan explained as he left the building.

This was hardly the first time KISS has been to Regina. The band has been touring for close to 40 years, more than enough time to circle the globe and come back again.

So what keeps audiences, especially new audiences, coming to see them year after year?

“It’s just all-around great music. Everybody knows it, we all grew up with it, it doesn’t matter what kind of music you like the most,” another fan explained.

Others leaving the concert agreed that KISS just puts on a great show.
