Police identify suspect in stabbing case

Prince Albert Police have released the identity of a man allegedly involved in a case of a stabbing on Sept 18.

Kyle Michael Boychuk, 44, was arrested by Saskatoon police soon after he fled the scene of an aggravated assault on a 29-year-old man in the 1200-block of 14th Street East.

“Boychuk has been remanded since his arrest,” said Sgt. Curtis Halcro with Prince Albert Police.

The victim, who was suffering from multiple stab wounds, was taken to Victoria Hospital and then transferred to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.
