A medical care program in Tisdale that over 180 people have taken part in received a major donation from the Tisdale Lions Club last week.

The Chronic Disease Management (CDM) exercise program in Tisdale received a donation of $10,000 from the club to put towards purchase of additional exercise equipment.

Geoff Stewart, an exercise therapist with the Kelsey Trail Health Region, said the donation goes a long way.

“The donation made by the Lions Club will ensure the Tisdale CDM exercise program is well equipped to operate for many years which will have a lasting impact on the quality of life of the clients that participate in it,” he said.
